Distributed schemes of parallel machines

摘要

The complexity of manufacturing processes, the managing of unplanned events such as machines failure or demand variability yield difficult to solve, in a centralized way, decision problems in Production systems. Distributed systems has been recently introduced in manufacturing as an useful approach to solve these problems, providing of some requirements such as modularity, robustness and simplicity. In fact, the global information needed by a centralized system to make decisions is not always available in complex systems, and it makes the distributed approach a natural way to control the system. In this paper some different distributed approaches for parallel machine scheduling problems based on multi-agents systems are showed.
