摘要

The current dependence of the chemical potential of a two dimensional electron gas in the quantum Hall effect regime is considered theoretically. It is shown that a new effect related with dissipationless flowing of the electric current can be interpreted as a Bernoulli effect of the incompressible superfluid. An experiment with a field effect transistor (FET) is proposed for the observation of this effect. The systematic investigation of the Bernoulli effect in FET can give a new low-frequency electronic method for determination of the eflective mass of charge carriers. The analogy with the Bernoulli effect in superconductors is shortly analysed and an experiment how to measure the electric charge related with superconducting vortices is suggested.
