Development and Application of Stainless Steel Products in China

摘要

China began to produce stainless steel in large quantity from 1952. With growing demand for stainless steel in China, particularly, to solve general (uniform) corrosion and local corrosion problems occur in petroleum, petrochemical, chemica!, power, aerospace, aviation and nuke industries, remarkable achievements have been made in development of stainless steel varieties and their applications in the past decades in China, a brief account of which is given in this paper.
