All-Fiber Optic Coherence Domain Interferometric Techniques

摘要

Traditional white-light scanning interferoemters utilize bulk otpic componetns mounted on a mechanical scanning mechanism. Many emerging applications for these itnerferometers require fiber otpic probes. By design, such fiber compatible instruments are expensive and are limited to slow scan rates. A new "all-fiber" design approach is presented, whic hreduces the cost of the design and enables higher scan rates.
