Helicopter Flight Automation Competition Paper Entry - 2002 International Aerial Robotics Competition

Simon Fraser University Aerial Robotics Team has modified a 60-sized model helicopter to be its autonomous air vehicle entry to the competition. This paper discusses our strategy to complete the three-kilometer autonomous flight (i.e., the vehicle's capabilities, how they will be utilized, and our backup plan).
