Boltorn~R Dendritic polymers highly efficient polymer polyols for high-resiliency PU-foams

Perstorp Specialty Chemicals has developed dendritic polymers under the trade name Boltorn to commercial scale.There are a number of different applications within the coatings,thermoplastics and thermosets areas for these polymers.One of the most promising applications is as a load builder in HR PU foams.This new type of polyol provides exceptional compressive load building characteristics at very low addition levels.The application is the result of a joint development work between Perstorp and Woodbridge Foam Corporation.Patent rights are regulated by a license agreement between the two companies.
