There has been considerable interest recently in the development and understanding of nanocomposites based on the use of dendrimers as the host matrix.An important design intent in this direction is to take advantage of functionalized dendrimer interiors that can advantagously complex with an added constituent,resulting in a nanocomposite using the dendrimer as a template.
