There are attempts to prevent the deactivation of homogeneous metallocene catalysts during the polymerization of polar monomers.The polymerization activities of the ethene copolymerization with polar norbornene derivatives (nbd) like norbornyltrimethyl-silylether decrease rapidly with increasing amount of monomer.
