Ti-Ti Ke-Ke: architecture as intelligent interface

摘要

We have reached a time where it will be both technologically and economically viable for architecture to behave as intelligent interface with the capacity to sense and respond to its environment. This paper aims to illustrate and application of this vision of a highly interactive built environment by describing a design proposal for an interactive interior lighting system called Ti-ti Ke-ke. If realised, this system could create interior luminous environments capable of responding to a potentially infinite number of stimuli, contributing to the creation of more useful and interesting living environments.
