Based on the analysis and evaluation of Tianjin agricultural developmental circumstance, this article mainly analyzed the question and owned dominance and potency that are faced development of modern sustainable agriculture in Tianjin. Facing new agricultural developmental stage and the new situation of accession into WTO, according to Tianjin agricultural practice, the paper presented the basic train of thought, strategic target, developmental prospective, regional composition and industrial major area of 21st century Tianjin coastal city type agricultural sustainable development, moreover, accordingly put forward several measure and countermeasure of development of coastal city type modern agriculture in Tianjin.
