GPS and GIS technologies were used to investigate the grassland resource. Soil cone index, moisture content, bulk density, soil organic matter, N, P, K contents and the percentage of grass cover, density, height, grass yield and preponderant grass kinds of the grassland were chosen to describe the grassland resource. Experimental results showed that the relationship between soil parameters, the relationship between grass yield with soil parameters could be well described using GPS and GIS technologies.
