POST-HARVEST PROCESS TECHNOLOGY OF RACK SYSTEMFOR AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS

摘要

The objective of this study is to utilize automatic rack systems which are widely used for storing rice products, spare parts, etc. for the post-harvest processing of various agricultural products by adding drying and/or refrigerating equipment to therack system. Because many agricultural products (such as grains, fruit and vegetables, forest products and marine products) are seasonal, storage and processing facilities designed for use on only one type of agricultural product may be underutilized during off peak seasons. Multipurpose facilities that make use of rack systems provide better utilization of investment capital, cost reduction of post-harvesting processing and better quality control of products at a smaller lot.
