摘要

Continental China is recognized as one of the most important sources of atmospheric mineral dust particles. These particles have a large potential to effect global changes through both the biogeochemical cycle of particulates and radiative balance. Many investigators indicate the importance of long-range transportation of mineral dust particles and their modifications during the transportation; because of these modifications particles can change their radiative properties and ability to be a condensation nucleus, but the number of data obtained from the in-situ measurements is still insufficient. Background transport of mineral dust particles also should not be neglected because of wide temporal and spatial range (Trochkine et al., 2002).
