To validate the iterative DDM algorithm, we calculate the reflection coefficient and transmission coefficient of primary mode in a rectangle waveguide (7.124× 3.404cm{sup}2). Figure 2 shows the convergent trends of |R| and |T| during the iterative processing with different relaxed factor. The results predict that using our FBC the iterative DDM algorithm can be constructed for analyzing waveguide problems, and the presented relaxed iterative algorithm make iteration converge rapidly.
