W-Band Dual Mode Horn Antenna Design

摘要

In this paper, design of W-Band dual mode horn was introduced. With the proper combination of the circular waveguide TE11 mode and TM11 mode, dual mode horn has a highly axial symmetrical radiation pattern, relatively low sidelobe level. Because of advantage of the simple structure, dual mode horn often used as feed for reflector antenna. These two types of dual mode horn structure were compared and analyzed from the aspect of design method and characteristic.
