Stress Initiation and Propagation in Glass During Ring-on-Ring Testing

摘要

A ring-on-ring testing was performed to study the stress initiation and propagation in glass. The objective of the current analysis is to delineate the mechanism and shed light to the physics of the stress wave propagation in the glass during the ring-on-ring testing through modeling and simulation.
