摘要

This paper presents an analytical solution for free vibration response of orthotropic laminated plate with piezoelectric layers based on a new procedure that is much simpler than those presented by Pagano and Fan. In the analysis, the 3-D piezoelectric theory is employed to develop a new concise formula for composite laminates. The natural frequencies and the corresponding mode distributions have been computed for three aspects of thickness/span of a five-layer piezoelectric laminated plate with simply supported and grounded boundaries under cylindrical bending.
