Degradation due to the environment in the marine devices and components is one of the main issues facing offshore industries, and is an even greater issue in devices with a high degree of autonomous operation. The project CoMARE is focused in the practical aspects of one degradation mechanism: Corrosion of metallic components in MArine Renewable Energy devices.
