The environmental influence of heavy metals introduced to the clinkering process with wastes

Utilisation of mineral wastes containing heavy metals in cement kiln is well-know method. Metal immobilisation into clinker might be determined by retention coefficients (Wr). Calculation of Wr enables the estimation of heavy metal emission to the atmosphere. Paper presents the calculation of Wr values for selected metals, based on measurements for full-scale experiments for 'dry' and 'wet' methods.
