TRAFFIC-INDUCED VIBRATIONS AND THEIR INFLUENCES ON SURROUNDING ENVIRONMENTS

Nowadays the influences of vibrations on the living and working environments of the people have brought to the close attentions of the public. The vibrations that are induced by the vehicles running underneath or close to buildings and propagate underground or along the ground surfaces have become considerable. In this paper, the problem of the traffic-induced vibrations and their influences on the surrounding buildings is comprehensively summarized.
