FLOOD MITIGATION IN URBANISED AREAS

摘要

The complexity of present environmental tasks demands the use of an integrated approach comprising detailed evaluation of hydrological, hydraulic, chemical and biological processes. The application of modern approaches and up-to-date information technology is then seen as a necessary condition for successful completion of environmental projects and studies. Mathematical modeling of natural processes is argued to be one of the most progressive technique to understand and protect nature for the long term.
