A three-dimensional computer code 3DINFIL was developed to simulate the resin film infusion (RFI) manufacturing process of complex shaped composite structures. 2. 3DINFIL is a predictive tool: 1) Optimize the RFI process. 2) Provide a better understanding of the RFI process. 3) Reduce manufacturing cost and risk. 4) Model manufacturing uncertainties.
