摘要

A pure Lagrangian method is presented for solving the Navier-Stokes equations which describe one- and two-dimensional compressible viscous flows in unsteady motion. The particles each with constant mass and time-dependent energy are accelerated and moved according to the laws derived from the N-S equations. These laws are found by casting the governing equations in a form of Lagrangian derivative. It is shown that the present method can simulate creation and propagation of a shock wave and of an expansion wave, and describe the shock wave structure.
