Efficient and accurate formula for grating synthesis derived from coupled-mode theory

摘要

A novel method for the synthesis of complex gratings has been described. The proposed method is fast and accurate and results in competitive designs to what has been reported earlier. It is also possible to extend the theory to gratings with absorption and perhaps to include several modes.
