The Application Of Project Management Information System In Naval Architecture Ocean Engineering Projects

摘要

This paper discusses the necessity and approaches for applying project management theory in naval architecture & ocean engineering projects. A general outline is presented in this paper on how to apply a project management information system in a shipyard. An approach to fulfilling real-time control in distribution-sites by integrating MS Project 98 and Oracle based on client/server technology is proposed. Grey system theory is introduced into network planning technology to reduce the uncertainty in projects, improve the accuracy of project scheduling, and control.
