Implementation of low cost mechanization and automation in welding production in China

摘要

In this paper the background, present situation, problems and measures of implementation of low cost automation in welding production are described. An explanation on low cost automation is given, in which the economic benefits and the payback time of the investment are emphasized. The implementation of low cost automation in welding production is a systematic project and affected by some management and operational factors. A campaign to implement low cost automation in welding production is proceeding in China, but there are still some obstacles and problems remaining to be solved and measures are proposed in this paper.
