FOURTH GENERATION FULL SCOPE SIMULATOR ON WINDOWS NT

CAE has been awarded a contract by the Ling Ao Nuclear Power Company (LANPC) to provide a full scope simulator for the Ling-Ao nuclear power plant and to upgrade the existing simulator for the Daya Bay power plant. Both are Framatome designed three-loop PWR's based on the French Gravelines standard and are located in Guangdong Province, China. The Ling Ao and Daya Bay simulators will be developed, tested and delivered entirely on commercially available Pentium processors running the Windows NT operating system. New models will be developed and tested using CAE's graphical development tool ROSE~? running under the SimStudio~(TM) simulation environment. The simulators will also include CAE's advanced thermal-hydraulic model ANTHEM2000~(TM) and advanced core model COMET~(TM). Both simulators will be state-of-the art fourth generation simulators.
