Knitted fabrics have been well used in large scale components as reinforcement of composites. In that components, lap joint part is inevitable construction and lap joint properties are essential for design of structural part. In this study, Wet-on-Wet lap joint properties of knitted fabric composite with chopped-strand mat were investigated. The high lap joint strength can be achieved by inserting mat layer into outmost layer. Accordingly, the concept of matrix hybrid with flexible resin was applied to the knitted fabric composite.
