摘要

In this research, the kinetics of microstructural evolution during hot rolling of SUS 316 stainless steel is investigated. The kinetics during the dynamic and static events, known as the material genome, is used as the boundary condition on an incremental type formulation, taking the dislocation density as the representative variable. Such analytical scheme is used to estimate the flow stress and the microstructure after the transient changes in process variables. Actual rolling schedules of seamless pipes are simulated and the microstructural changes are compared.
