Engineering Technology for Environmental Protection in Shanghai Metro Station Construction

摘要

This paper introduces the theory and application of controlling ground movement around deep excavation for Shanghai metro station in soft soil by using the rule of Time-Space Effect (TSE) in excavation to mobilize the soil's potential of controlling ground movement. This theory and method can be developed further as the experiences and monitoring data are being gathered more and more.
