Advanced High Performance Software Technologies for Structural Analysis and Design

摘要

Even with the availability of various engineering softwares, the structural analysis and design are both time consuming and labor intensive. A lot of attempts have been done to improve this situation in different ways. In this paper, database technology, integration concept, compatibility of different kinds of finite elements and the fast static and dynamic solvers are discussed to enhance the performance of analyses and design tools in civil engineering practice.
