Effect of various vesicular-arbuscular mycorrhizal (VAM) fungi viz., Glomus mosseae, G. fasciculatum, G. monosporum, G. etunicatum and G. constrictum was studied on the incidence and severity of wilt of gladiolus caused by Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. gladioli under pot culture. Plants inoculated with Glomus mosseae resulted in maximum disease reduction followed by G. etunicatum. Significantly higher root length and root dry weight was recorded in mycorrhizal inoculated plants than non-mycorrhizal plants.
