Generation and propagation of surface plasmon polaritons in periodic metallic structures using fs-THz pulses

摘要

The generation of surface plasmon polaritons in periodic metallic structures is investigated theoretically and experimentally. The surface plasmon polaritons are excited with fs THz-pulses in different periodic metallic structures and propagation and resonance effects are observed.
