There is much interest in the corrosion reactions of pure copper and copper alloys such as Cu-Zn and Cu-Ni.The use of corrosion inhibitors such as benzotriazole is a well-documented strategy for corrosion protection of these metals.In recent yeas the use of conducting polymers for corrosion protection of metal substrates has been studied.
