Atmospheric pressure plasma systems are an appealing alternative to vacuum systems as they are able to achieve the same surface effects while allowing continuous processing at lower cost.While vacuum plasma surface modification of polymers has been well-documented,effects of atmospheric plasma treatment have not been completely characterized.
