Recently,extensive research into nickel-hydrogen batteries using hydrogen storage alloys as negative electrode material has been conducted because of their cleanness and high energy density.Microencapsulation of the alloy particles with electroless palladium coatings has been carried out to obtain further improvement of the performance of the negative electrode.
