Modeling and Simulation Links with Command Control (C~2) Systems Considerations in Architecture Designs

This concept paper explores objectives and requirements and proposes evaluation criteria for architectures linking command and control (C~2) systems with modeling and simulation (M&S) systems. It focuses on design requirements for data flows between Joint training models and mission applications or segments within the Defense Information Infrastructure Common Operating Environment (DII COE) including the DII COE Shared Data Environment (SHADE).
