摘要

The No.3 boiler at S plant, Henan Province, was in poor condition since operation. Based on the test result a preliminary plan of adding guide-plate at the exit of burners to reduce primary air deflection was proposed. In order to understand the effect of guide-plate upon the near-burner flow field and the furnace aerodynamics. cold flow test of a single burner, prototype cold furnace flow test and Computer-aided test(CAT) were carried out. Based on the results a proper guide-plate was determined. Since the guide-plate was added, the performance of No.3 boiler has been greatly improved.
