Canberra stormwater management: an australian case study

摘要

This Paper outlines the nationa approach to stormwater management in Australia, and evolving implementation practices by State and Local government authorities. The Canberra urban stormwater management strategy is presented as an example of an ecologicaly sustainable development based approach to urban stormwater management. The Paper concludes that there are five principles that are critical to the effective attainment of sustainability goals.
