Implementing a HLA-based Distributed Simulation for Supply Chain Management: Development of an ARENA~(TM) based Federate

摘要

In the paper the development of a supply chain network simulation model resorting to a federation of independent simulators based on the High Level Architecture is described. In particular the approach taken in building a federate utilizing a commercial simulation environment is detailed. An application example in the aeronautical industry sector is also presented.
