摘要

This study deals with the development of a wheel that reduces tire cavity noise generated by the wheel and tire cavity structure, one of the road noises of vehicle. It was verified that tire cavity noise can be improved by using the side branch resonator. Wheel with side branch resonator maximizes the effect of reducing tire cavity noise as phase cancellation occurs. Optimization of the design, material, joining, and manufacturing process was developed to make an aluminum wheel with side branch resonator.
