摘要

The purpose of this study is to make comparison of ATF viscosity changes in between field services and laboratory shear stability tests. Eight sets of field viscosity data have been provided by six car manufacturers participating the subcommittee using seven different ATFs. Both JASO sonic and KRL shear stability tests were carried out with extended test duration to compare viscosity changes with field data. Reasonable correlation between field and laboratory viscosity data have been obtained by adjusting driving distance and shear tests duration, however, the distance/duration relations has differed by ATF due to differences in severity of field services.
