Experiments and analysis on vapor compression refrigerator with capillary tube condenser were done. Temperature, pressure, and flow rate of refrigerant of each part of the system were measured, and refrigeration ability and coefficient of performance (COP) were evaluated. As a result, it was clear that the refrigeration system with capillary tube as an expansion valve and smaller condenser had higher performance than the conventional refrigeration system, and the cause of the performance improvement, phenomenon that had happened in the capillary tube, and the operating cycle of the new refrigeration system were analyzed.
