An experimental investigation of the effects of hydrogen concentration on lean-premixed hydrogen-methane flames was carried out in a constant-volume bomb at an equivalence ratio of 0.8. Mole fraction of hydrogen in the hydrogen-methane fuel was varied from 0 to 1.0. Laminar burning velocity and Markstein number as a measure of the response of the flame to stretch, and turbulent burning velocity were examined at three pressures up to 0.50MPa. Turbulent burning velocity was discussed with the turbulence Karlovitz number as the stretch factor due to turbulence on the turbulent flame.
