The color surface treatment technology for calipers was developed using by aluminum-zinc duplex coating and special color painting. To achieve better impact, oil and corrosion resistance, we have studied the properties by changing coating conditions of aluminum-zinc coating thickness, painting thickness and components of base coating. In addition, we tried to establish optimum coating process conditions by experiment design, finally the prototype of caliper was synthesized by using pilot coating line. For evaluation of coated caliper body and torque member, we have carried out impact test and corrosion test, acid resistance test etc. The results were considerable for our specification.
