Driver Model Development that Behaves like a Regular non-Expert Driver

A driver model has been developed that behaves like a regular non-expert driver. Non-expert drivers tend to operate steering according to their feeling and their steering behavior changes depending on the vehicle even if significant differences in vehicle response cannot be found. Because non-expert drivers are very sensitive, it is possible to evaluate a vehicle's characteristics by measuring the steering maneuvers of non-expert drivers. In addition, in a vehicle dynamics simulation, a non-expert driver model better matches the subjective feeling.
