摘要

Inertia property of an automotive power train is one of essential properties for analyzing low frequency vehicle vibration characteristics such as engine idling and ride comfort quality. Inertia property of power train can be measured in its unconstrained condition. However, because of time-consuming manual work involved with disassembling and reassembling the vehicle, such method is not convenient. This report introduces a simple method for measuring inertia property of an automotive power train in the full vehicle condition using impact excitation test technique.
