A New Surface Microphone (Proven Condenser Microphone Performance in a revolutionary New Packing)

A new sensor for measurement of sound pressure on surfaces and in confined spaces has been developed. The new sensor is denoted as a Surface Microphone. The Surface Microphone has a build in DeltaTron preamplifier; despite this the height of the device is only 2.5 mm. The acoustic performance and dynamic range of the new device is equivalent to that of a traditional measurement microphone. The Surface Microphone can easily be integrated into a semi - flexible disc formed mounting fixture, hence minimizing mounting costs and eliminating the drilling of holes as required for conventional flush mounting. The Surface Microphone has build in TEDS in order to ease correct use of calibration data and eliminate cabling errors.
