摘要

Finite element modeling methods and material modeling method with strain rate sensitivity obtained by high speed tensile tests were discussed to improve the accuracy of crash simulation of vehicle components. Compared with the result of dynamic bending test of hat square column by using high strength steel sheets, the accuracy of the FEM simulation was evaluated for various modeling methods. It was shown that the modeling of corner radius and modeling of material properties were very important to predict the dynamic collapse behavior of vehicle components.
