Direct methanol fuel cells (DMFC) are being developed as one of the power sources at many laboratories in the world. Experimental and modeling studies in these fuel cells have shown that methanol concentration is a key factor governing efficiency and operation. This report deals with a continuous measuring system for low concentration methanol in a water solution using the Nondispersive Infrared (NDIR) Method.
